Responsibilities

Parts Counter Associates will: Assist all customers (retail and shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly and professional and efficient manner May require selling parts to all internal and external customers over the counter through the shop or on the phone or may entail pulling orders Reports to work on-time and as scheduled Maintains a good driving record and is considered "insurable" by our auto insurance carrier Communicates with internal and external customers in a respectful and courteous manner at all times Drives safely and courteously at all times Picks up and/or delivers parts to designated accounts Operates radio or similar device to communicate with dealership Ensures that areas of the parts department are properly stocked and organized Ensures the cleanliness of the parts department by disposing of used boxes and trash - sweeping floors and dusting parts bins daily Crates all cores for shipment back to the manufacturer when part has been replaced Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Ability to memorize parts numbers Strong attention to detail Ability to multi-task Strong customer service skills Demonstrated stable work history with good references Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily 1 year related experience and/or training Valid Driver's License and good driving record * Able to pass background and drug screen
