What You'll Do as a PCA - Recreational Therapy
You'll be the heart of our recreation department, bringing warmth, creativity, and energy into the lives of our participants through personalized, therapeutic activities that support memory, engagement, and wellbeing.
In this role, you will:
Assist in planning and facilitating group and one-on-one recreational and dementia-specific activities
Encourage participants to engage in meaningful ways that reflect their interests and abilities
Support daily programming and community outings for our participants
Create safe, structured, and joyful environments that promote independence and connection
Help with basic personal care needs and support staff in the care center or occasionally in participant homes
Maintain supplies, cleanliness, and accurate records as part of our collaborative care team
Champion dignity, respect, and patient-family-centered care in all interactions

What We're Looking For
High school diploma or equivalent required
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or willing to complete PCA training provided by us
Previous experience working with seniors or individuals with dementia preferred
Ability to work with compassion, teamwork, integrity, and excellence
Strong communication and organizational skills
Basic computer skills and ServSafe/CPR certifications (or willingness to obtain)
Reliable transportation and valid driver's license (required)
Must be 18+, fully vaccinated (or willing), and ready to make a difference
