Job Description

Part-Time position working up to 20 hours per weekend. Schedule includes weekends and overnights with the occasional fill in shift. AA degree in Human Service field preferred but will consider a combination of education and experience.

Principal Requirements- Provide confidential crisis intervention through crisis counseling, information and referral, safety planning and personal advocacy in a trauma informed environment to adult and child victims of domestic violence and sexual assault at the Crisis Based Shelter located in Fort Dodge, IA. Answering crisis lines, transporting, cleaning, preparing food, serving food, assisting victims that reside at the shelter with day to day tasks and other duties as assigned.
