Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Center Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, fostering their growth and development through engaging activities and structured learning experiences. You will work closely with children aged from infancy to preschool, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that aligns with early childhood education standards. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Manage classroom behavior effectively, employing positive reinforcement strategies to guide children's interactions. Observe and assess children's progress, documenting developmental milestones and identifying areas for improvement. Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, challenges, and achievements. Collaborate with colleagues to plan and execute educational activities that promote physical education and special education needs. Maintain a clean and organized classroom space that is conducive to learning. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge of childhood development. Other duties as assigned

Experience

Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education is preferred. Knowledge of curriculum development, classroom management, and behavior management techniques is essential. Familiarity with standardized testing practices in early childhood settings is a plus. A strong understanding of childhood development principles is necessary to support the diverse needs of children in the classroom.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.50 - $15.00 per hour
