Our practice is in search of a part time surgical assistant to join our team. Dental experience is REQUIRED and surgical experience is preferred. We see patients Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and occasionally on Wednesdays. The hours for the position are flexible. A good attitude, team player, attention to detail and strong work ethic are very important.

Our patient's smile and comfort are our top priority and we strive to deliver the best experience possible to each person that enters our office. Our entire team is dedicated to providing patients with personalized, gentle care that they deserve and we are looking for a dental assistant that will help us accomplish these goals.

Responsibilities:

Assist with patient consults; take x-rays as needed Assist dentist in dental procedures, including surgery Ensure the care and welfare of patients in a friendly, helpful and courteous manner Keep clinical areas and all equipment and instruments clean, tidy and sterile as appropriate Prepare treatment room for patient by following prescribed procedures and protocols. Prepare patient for dental treatment by welcoming, comforting, and seating patient. Sterilizing and delivering instruments to treatment area; positioning instruments for dentist's access; suctioning; passing instruments. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed, cross training when necessary
