Part Time Security Guard: Floater

This position is intended for those looking to fill shifts for part time work at many of our different sites. There is always potential to stay on as positions open frequently. Please note that there is no guarantee for a specific number of hours. *

Officers will use a company vehicle to drive between multiple properties and complete assigned tasks provided by the client. Officers will report and document all shift activities and incidents that occur during the shift. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Provide a highly visible presence to detect and deter crime Foot and vehicle patrols Secure doors, gates, and any other entry points Access control Respond to incidents, emergencies, and alarms Document and report shift activities and incidents Maintain company and client equipment Maintain a strong professional relationship with the clients and their resident/customers

Requirements:

21 years of age or older High school diploma or equivalent Reliable transportation Reliable means of communication Valid driver's license Clean driving record Ability to pass a drug test Ability to pass a background check Possess a North Carolina Guard Card

(Training provided if necessary)

Prior military, law enforcement, security, or customer service experience (Preferred) Weekend shifts Overnight Shifts

Skills & Abilities:

CPR/First Aid Certification (Preferred)

Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time Strong Observation skills Verbal and written communication skills Ability to remain calm and make decisions in stressful situations Ability to adapt to a changing environment
