JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Laboratory for the Study of Human Ingestive Behavior in the Department of Nutritional Sciences at Penn State is seeking a candidate for a part-time research assistant. Responsibilities include data collection and/or management, data analyses, preparation of manuscripts, conference presentations, and participation in interdisciplinary research groups.

A master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in nutrition or related field plus five years of related experience is preferred. Candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ideal candidate will also have strong organizational skills, proficient research knowledge (including knowledge of Institutional Review Board applications) and be able to work as part of a team. Knowledge of statistics and familiarity with statistical programming (SAS, R, etc.) is required.
