Job Description

Join our friendly and positive team! We are seeking a hard-working and enthusiastic orthodontic assistant to support our orthodontist in providing top-tier care and creating beautiful smiles. Prior orthodontic experience is required- If you are a team player who thrives in a dynamic, patient-centered environment, this position could be perfect for you!

Duties

Assist the orthodontist with various procedures, including but not limited to: impressions, photos, radiographs, bonding dental appliances and brackets, routine adjustments, sanitizing and more. Prepare and maintain the treatment area, ensuring all instruments and materials are sterile and ready for use. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to support optimal outcomes. Ensure a safe, clean, and organized environment for both patients and staff.

Schedule

Our office has a rotating schedule, with shifts alternating between Monday-Tuesday or Wednesday-Thursday. Exact schedule will vary week to week.

Requirements

Previous orthodontic experience is required. Radiology certification is preferred but not required. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both patients and team members. Professional attitude, quick learner, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and the ability to multitask. Computer skills are necessary.
