Job Summary

Avanti Medical Center is seeking a Medical Assistant to assist with procedures and perform lab draws for our Bioidentical Hormone therapy replacement, and PRP for our Medical Spa/Wellness clinic. Phlebotomy, hormone therapy experience & Medical Spa experience preferred. Must be a fast learner, friendly and outgoing with the drive to excel. Opportunities for bonuses and sales commissions.

Duties

Assist physicians, nurses, and clerical staff with daily tasks and procedures to ensure smooth office operations. Help answer the phone and assist at the front desk when needed. Perform blood draws and prepare lab requisitions. Maintain a clean and well-stocked lab and treatment rooms. Record patient vitals, including blood pressure, weight, and other vital signs. Clean and sterilize medical equipment using an autoclave. Print lab results and match them with patient symptom sheets for review by the Nurse Practitioner. Present necessary lab results and symptom sheets to the Nurse Practitioner matching their daily schedule. Provide the Nurse Practitioner the necessary labels for record-keeping. Maintain a professional appearance and attitude. Order needed medical supplies. Scan & enter patient information into the EHR as required. Communicate with patients and refill prescriptions.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Medical Assistant in outpatient clinics; experience in hormone therapy is highly desirable. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and pharmacology to support accurate documentation and effective patient care. Phlebotomy: 1 years (Required) Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient service excellence; ability to communicate clearly with diverse patient populations. Ability to perform clinical tasks such as vital sign measurement, specimen collection, and basic diagnostic procedures confidently. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure in fast-paced environments like urgent care centers or emergency departments. Knowledge of medical administrative support functions including appointment scheduling, medical terminology, and maintaining accurate records within EHR systems.

Tuesday: 10-5p

Wednesday: 12-5p

Thursday: 10-5p

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
