Sagewood Childcare is seeking a part time

Lead Infant Teacher

to join our small, growing program in Exeter, NH. This is a part-time position with

consistent hours

very small infant group

, and supportive, hands-on leadership.

We are intentionally growing and looking for a confident infant teacher who values consistency, routine, and meaningful care -- without the chaos of a large center.

Position Details

15-30 hours per week

Mon/Tue/Thu

(flexible)

Operating Hours: 7:00am - 5:30pm

Very small infant group

$22-$26/hour

, based on experience

Responsibilities

Provide attentive, nurturing care to infants in a licensed setting Support daily routines including feeding, diapering, sleep, and play Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment Communicate clearly with families about daily care and milestones Follow all health, safety, and licensing requirements Work closely with program leadership during a thoughtful growth period

What We're Looking For

Experience working with infants in a licensed child care setting Meets NH child care staff qualification requirements Reliable, calm, and confident caring for infants Comfortable working independently with small groups CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
