Part Time Infant Caregiver
Almost Home is seeking a compassionate individual to provide love and care to our smallest infants, Monday through Friday from 3-6pm.
Responsibilities
Diaper changing and feeding of infants on a consistent schedule. Introduction of cereal, pureed foods and solid foods on a developmentally appropriate schedule. Providing eye-contact, holding, rocking, tummy time, and play activities appropriate for developing infants. Real-time, electronic documentation of feedings, diaper changes and naps. Effective and professional communication with parents about baby's daily experience. Cleaning and sanitization of toys, tabletops and play equipment. Vacuuming of classroom carpets each evening.
Experience
Previous experience working with small infants is preferred. Parenting experience is also highly valued.
College Students seeking a degree in Education or Nursing are encouraged to apply. All candidates MUST be at least 18 years of age, hold a high school diploma or GED and be able to pass a complete background check.
