Job Summary

We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Part Time Help at our Tree Nursery. This role is ideal for those who enjoy outdoor work and have a passion for plants and horticulture. As a part-time team member, you will assist in various tasks related to the care and maintenance of our nursery plants, contributing to a vibrant and healthy environment.

Responsibilities

Assist in the daily care of plants, including watering, fertilizing, and pruning Operate irrigation systems to ensure proper hydration of plants Participate in planting, transplanting, and repotting activities Help maintain cleanliness and organization within the nursery and greenhouse areas Utilize hand tools for various gardening tasks such as weeding and mulching Identify plant species and monitor their health for signs of disease or pests Support landscaping projects as needed, including lawn care and garden maintenance Perform heavy lifting tasks related to moving plants and materials around the nursery

Experience

The ideal candidate will possess a combination of the following skills:

Experience in horticulture or agriculture is highly desirable Familiarity with greenhouse operations and plant care techniques Knowledge of irrigation systems and mechanical tools used in gardening Basic math skills for measuring soil, fertilizers, or other materials Previous experience in landscaping, farming, or lawn care is a plus Ability to lift heavy objects safely and work outdoors in various weather conditions Join us at our Tree Nursery where you can grow your skills while working with nature!

Pay: $12.50 - $15.00 per hour
