We are currently looking for
a front desk agent
to join our busy and professional team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Welcome guests in a friendly, prompt and professional manner
Check guests in, issue room keys, provide information on hotel services and location
Answer phones in a prompt and courteous manner
Check guests out, including resolving any late or disputed charges
Communicate any outstanding guest requests or issues to management
Take action to solve guest problems/complaints
Book guests reservations for individuals and/or groups
Process cancellations, revisions and information updates on reservations
Work as part of team and communicate with other departments to ensure quality service
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High School diploma/Secondary qualification or equivalent
One year front desk/guest service experience strongly preferred
Proficiency in
SynXis
is preferred
Strong communication skills essential
Requirements: Frequently standing up behind desk and front office areas
Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds
Handling objects, products and computer equipment
Basic computer skills
Availability to Work Weekends
