Overview:



This position is perfect for an early morning person who wants to work a job that has off on most weekends!

This position starts at 3:00AM. It involves baking product that is already prepared, bagging cookies, and then delivering products to local businesses in the morning. It is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and the average shift will run from 3:00AM-7:30/8:00AM.

This position is also an alternate for helping fill in bakery shifts when staff need off on the weekends. This will not happen often - but it would be expected that you pitch in and help when multiple staff need off on the same weekend.

Other job responsibilities include standard bakery roles including: helping with bakery cleanliness, following health department regulations, helping cover shifts when other staff are on vacation, helping with customer service, etc.

Responsibilities (Critical behaviors associated with this role):



Properly baking breakfast products Deliver all product no later than 6:00AM Transporting product Maintaining a clean vehicle as well as a current driver's license and car insurance This position will occasionally be responsible for helping clean the bathrooms and vacuum the hallways All staff are required to occasionally help fill in for other staff when they are sick or when they are taking vacation. This may include working during a shift you are normally not scheduled for Maintain bakery cleanliness Be proactive in finding solutions to problems and being an active participant in helping solve bakery problems Maintain a positive work environment Approach people with kindness Avoid sarcasm or deflecting negative feelings with indirect statements Outbursts are never tolerated Do your dishes in a timely manner Leave the kitchen cleaner then how you found it Being a "team player" is imperative for this role. We are a small business and all staff help each other when needed Making sure your deadlines for product/baking/orders are met Making sure you arrive to work consistently at your scheduled time Meringue Bakery needs staff who are willing to be creative and suggest new menu items and explore unique menu offerings. Checking out with staff and/or a manager daily when leaving Reporting negative client experiences or product mistakes to management During high volume weeks, all staff are required to work until the daily job lists are done, even if it requires staying longer than the schedule suggests.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week
