Overview

We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves safely transporting floral arrangements to various destinations, ensuring timely deliveries, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience operating box trucks or similar vehicles, possess strong driving skills, and be comfortable with heavy lifting and moving tasks. Duties

Safely operate a box truck or commercial vehicle to deliver goods across designated routes Ensure accurate loading and proper securing of items to prevent damage during transit Follow route schedules and driving directions to ensure timely deliveries Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients during delivery Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the vehicle and delivery equipment Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management, stock organization, and order picking when required Complete delivery paperwork accurately and report any issues or delays promptly

Skills

Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, with knowledge of route driving and navigation skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles with manual transmission preferred Strong customer service skills to ensure positive interactions with clients Ability to lift heavy loads safely and perform moving tasks efficiently Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and adherence to traffic laws Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle physical demands of the role
This position requires a dedicated individual committed to safe driving practices, efficient load handling, and delivering outstanding service. Candidates should be prepared for physically demanding tasks and have prior experience in delivery or warehouse operations.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 24 per week
