JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Penn State Abington's Science and Engineering Division seeks an instructor in the area of Computer Science for a part-time appointment to begin Spring 2026.
Job Duties

• The successful candidate will teach one or more of the following college-level courses in computer science: Software Testing, Software Quality Assurance, and Software Construction.
• The position requires teaching in person. The ideal candidate should be open to offering flexibility in course scheduling and instructional approaches to support diverse student needs.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Applicants must have the ability to communicate effectively with an ethnically and culturally diverse student population.
• Candidates must have completed at least a Master's degree in either computer science or data science or a related field.
• Preference will also be given to candidates with demonstrated excellence in teaching at the college level.
