Summary

'Honey Tree Preschools is seeking a Part Time Assistant / Co-Teacher to join our vibrant team in all 3 of our schools - Wilton, Monroe, and Bethel. This role is vital in supporting our mission to nurture and educate young children in a caring environment. Join us in making a difference in the lives of children and their families.'

Responsibilities

Assist lead teachers in implementing educational activities tailored to early childhood development.

Support classroom management and create a positive learning environment. Prepare learning materials and assist with lesson planning. Engage with children to foster social, emotional, and cognitive growth. Communicate effectively with parents and team members. Ensure safety and well-being of all children in the classroom. Support inclusive practices for children with special needs. Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom setting.'

Qualifications

Prior experience working with young children or in a preschool setting.

Knowledge of early childhood education principles. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to support diverse learning needs, including children with disabilities. Passion for working with children and fostering their development. Familiarity with curriculum planning and classroom activities. Certification in CPR/First Aid is preferred but not required. Reliable, patient, and enthusiastic about early childhood education.'
Pay: $17.00 - $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 - 15.0 per week
