This position is in the Enterprise Asset Management, Fleet and Parking Services Program, which manages the state parking and commuting programs for state employees and visitors in the Capital Mall area of Salem, and at the Eugene and Portland State Office Buildings. This position performs parking enforcement, minor maintenance and customer service activities in parking facilities owned and managed by the department in the Capitol Mall area in Salem, Eugene and Portland.

What We Are Looking For
Minimum Qualifications:

  • Your previous work experience must reflect:
    Operation of a computer AND
    One year of customer service experience that included working with a variety of people, sometimes under adverse conditions.
  • You must be at least 18 years of age at the time of hire.


Desired Attributes:
  • Background in parking security analyzing conditions of parking areas.
  • Experience in issuing citations or warnings.
  • Ability to provide information, directions or cite regulations to visitors.
