POSITION INFORMATION:
Assist the Special Education teacher with classroom activities specifically designed to meet the individual needs of students.
REQUIREMENTS:
Associates of Arts degree or two years of post secondary education (60 credit hours) from an accredited college/university or proof of passing score on ParaPro Test, a valid Level One, AZ, IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card, Immunization Record (MMR) and Tuberculosis (TB) Test.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Presents skills reinforcements or guides independent study activities to individuals or small groups of students as directed by the teacher;
Familiarizes self with instructional materials to be used and learns how to use them properly;
Maintains a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about students;
Perform duties or requirements that are outlined in a students Individual Education Plan (IEP);
* Performs other job-related duties as assigned by the Principal/Administrator of Special Programs.
