Duties
Assist lead teachers in implementing lesson plans across subjects such as literacy education, math, and early childhood education, ensuring activities are engaging and accessible for all students.
Support students with special needs, including those with autism or disabilities, by adapting instructional strategies and providing individualized assistance.
Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management techniques, promoting a positive learning environment.
Help develop and execute curriculum tailored to diverse learning styles, including Montessori or preschool methodologies.
Facilitate small group activities and one-on-one support to reinforce lesson objectives in literacy, math, and other core areas.
Assist with classroom organization, including preparing materials for lessons, maintaining supplies, and ensuring a safe environment for children from toddler care through preschool age.
Collaborate with teachers on lesson planning and assessment strategies to monitor student progress and adapt instruction accordingly.
Support children's social-emotional development by encouraging positive interactions and providing guidance on classroom routines.
Engage with children during classroom activities, daycare routines, or extracurricular events to foster a warm and inclusive atmosphere.
Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and team members to share student progress and address individual needs.
Skills
Strong background in special education principles, childhood development, and early childhood education practices.
Proven experience working with children in classroom settings or daycare environments; familiarity with preschool or private school settings is advantageous.
Skilled in lesson planning, curriculum development, and implementing educational activities that promote literacy education and math skills.
Expertise in classroom management techniques that support positive behavior management and create an orderly learning environment.
Experience working with students who have autism or other disabilities; ability to adapt teaching methods accordingly.
Excellent communication skills for collaborating with teachers, parents, and students effectively.
Knowledge of Montessori or other child-centered educational philosophies is a plus.
Ability to work well with people of all ages in diverse settings such as daycare centers or early childhood programs.
Familiarity with Toddler care routines and preschool programming to support developmental milestones.
Demonstrated patience, flexibility, and enthusiasm for fostering inclusive learning experiences for young learners.
