Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
AA degree or, 60 semester hours from accredited university, or satisfactory results on an AZ state-approved competency exam
Ability to operate standard office equipment including computer and related software
Satisfactory criminal background check

Core Job Functions:
Supervising children in the child development program including play periods, lunch periods, field trips, assemblies and emergency drills
Preparing lesson plans and instructing children with age appropriate curriculum
Translating, when required, (both oral and written) for parents, students, staff and others
Developing and creating bulletin boards, signs, borders and classroom displays
Assisting students with various physical, emotional and educational needs
Assisting with assessments, grading papers and completing records under the supervision of the supervisor/teacher
Alerting the director/supervisor to any problem or special information about a student
Communicating with parents on student\'s progress, issues and outcomes
Maintaining the confidentiality of protected student and staff member information even after no longer employed
Being flexible and performing other duties relating to general job function as assigned by supervisor
Operate and care for equipment used for instructional purposes
Follow district policies as outlined
Perform all duties in a safe and prudent manner as directed by supervisors
