Pay Rate:

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities and Focus Areas

Expert Painting & Surface Prep:

Serve as the primary specialist for all interior and exterior painting, including extensive preparation (sanding, patching, caulking, priming).

Unit Turnover Priority:

Execute high-quality, rapid painting and touch-ups for vacant apartments to minimize downtime and ensure units are immediately ready for leasing.

Curb Appeal Maintenance:

Perform regular paint maintenance on common areas, hallways, and building exteriors to uphold a premium community appearance.

General Maintenance Assistance:

Provide essential support to the Maintenance Supervisor by assisting with light carpentry, minor drywall repair, and basic service requests.

Organization and Inventory:

Maintain meticulous organization of all paint supplies, equipment, and color inventory.

Safety & Compliance:

Ensure all work adheres strictly to company safety standards and procedures.

Resident Service:

Respond to service calls promptly, professionally, and courteously.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience:

1-3 years of professional painting and/or maintenance experience (multifamily/apartment turnover experience preferred).

Technical Proficiency:

Demonstrable expertise in all phases of professional painting and surface preparation techniques.

Basic Maintenance Knowledge:

Ability to perform and assist with light repairs (drywall, simple plumbing, basic fixtures).

Certifications (Preferred):

EPA 608 or OSHA 10 certifications are a strong plus.

Requirements:

Must possess a

valid driver's license

and

reliable transportation
