Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background painting, with experience in various painting techniques and materials. This role requires attention to detail, a good understanding of color theory, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes on a variety of aircraft.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting by inspecting, cleaning, sanding, and repair defects as needed. Mask, blend, and polish finish to match surrounding areas. Apply paint on aircraft using spray-painting equipment, power tools and work aids utilizing specific surface preparation and painting techniques. Mix paints and match colors according to specifications. Detailed oriented. Perform other duties as assigned by project lead, as needed. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition Follow safety protocols on construction sites to ensure a safe working environment.

Experience

Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:

Qualified applicants must successfully pass a pre-employment and random drug & alcohol screenings to meet FAA requirements. 1-2 years painting experience required. Automotive experience is a plus. Experience with hand tools, power tools, and industrial painting equipment

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
