Job Summary

Under the general supervision of the Group Leader and/or Maintenance Supervisor, the Painter provides all aspects of painting, refurbishing and maintaining the interior and exterior decor with little or no supervision.

Core Job Responsibilities

Familiar with the safe use of all hand and power tools related to the position. Understanding of local building and hospital codes Ability to understand and complete preventative maintenance programs. Have some general electrical and mechanical experience Working knowledge of snow plow operations Able to hang and finish sheet work. Familiar with all types of painting and staining Experience with wall papering Experienced with furniture refinishing Basic experience in carpentry, electrical and plumbing Experience in acoustic grid work and ceilings Perform other duties as required.

Education/Experience Requirements

Required:

High School Diploma or equivalent Skilled tradesman with a minimum of 5 years experience
