Job Description

SPECIFIC JOB FUNSTIONS:

Paint and install wall covering. Prepare surface to be painted as necessary. Operate airless spray equipment as required, texture hoppers/machines Adjust paint to proper color as necessary. Patch, tape and texture and acoustic as necessary. Operate all equipment required to perform job assignments. Other job related duties as assigned.

TYPICAL PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS:

Frequent bending, stooping and reaching and climbing. May require prolonged standing. Requires being mobile 90% of the shift. May require lifting up to 60 lbs. Requires eye/hand coordination. Requires the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols. Requires the use of beepers, radios, and telephones. Regular and predictable attendance. Requires climbing ladders and stairs. Requires normal vision range and absence of color blindness.

TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:

Work is performed inside and outside in all weather conditions. Work is performed in small areas, such as attics, and high areas, such as catwalks as well as areas which may be unusually noisy, crowded and smoky. Work entails chemical usage. Constant contact with staff and customers.

PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS:

High School Education or equivalent required. Excellent communication skills. Understand and comply with all hotel and departmental rules and regulations, policies and procedures. Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff. Ability to read, write and communicate verbally in English. Ability to perform basic math. Knowledge of all paints and wall coverings.
