PAINT BATCHER

Aervoe LLC has a 50-year history as a leading manufacturer of paint, specialty coating, cleaners, and lubricants for professional industrial use; and an innovative designer and manufacturer of LED traffic control devices used by first responders, contactors, and others. We are searching for a Production Paint Batcher. The Paint Batcher makes paint and other solvents following an order/ticket. The person in the position must be proficient at a 10th grade level of math, must have the ability to lift and move 75 lbs. continuously throughout the day, be motivated to learn and have the ability to move quickly and multitask. Having a proven track record of catching errors before they are made is important, attention to detail is key.

Production - Batcher:

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

Make paint following provided directions to supply production lines.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Produce paint to keep up with production lines.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITY:

Produce accurate paint batches following a Batch Ticket

Fill out paperwork properly and turn it into the proper area.

Keep work area clean and organized.

PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS:

Productivity

Job Knowledge/Quality

Reliability

Judgement

Relationships with co-workers and other departments

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma/GED

Working with chemicals and different weighing devices

Good verbal and written communication skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Drive a Forklift

Must be able to lift 75 lbs. on a regular basis.

Must be able to move 500 lb. drums.

Must wear respirator.

Chemical Manufacturing

MENTAL ACTIVITIES & REQUIREMENTS:

Read, write, and communicate in English.

Basic math skills are necessary.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
