The BAYADA Nurse Residency Program is a transition-to-practice program for new graduate nurses who would like a meaningful and exciting career in home care. The program focuses on creating a collaborative professional development environment where new graduate nurses can safely develop their critical thinking and nursing skills while working with children and adults in the home. A clinical coach mentor, dedicated seasoned clinicians, and highly trained preceptors will support your growth as you transition into your career in home care nursing.

We have Offices in the following areas that service the Susquehanna, Lackawanna, or Wyoming County area with start dates on 8/21/2023, 9/11/2023, 9/25/2023, and 10/9/2023.

• Wilkes Barre

• Wilkes Barre-Scranton Adult Nursing (17+ clients)
• Clarks Summit

• Pediatrics (school-aged and young adult clients)

Responsibilities for Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Assessments
• Training and education of family members
• Medication administration of prescribed treatments and therapies
• Communication with other members of the patients\' multidisciplinary team
• Supply management
• Emergency management

Qualifications for Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Recent completion of an LPN program with a NCLEX date or
• Current LPN license in good standing (in Pennsylvania state)
• Current CPR certification
