Position Summary
We are seeking a Junior Architecture Student (3rd year, min. GPA 3.0) to join our team as an Architectural Drafter. This role includes producing architectural drawings, supporting permit set development, assisting with field verification, and collaborating with our design and construction teams. Candidates should be confident working independently and proficient in AutoCAD (Revit preferred).
Key Responsibilities
Draft architectural drawing sets (plans, elevations, sections, details)
Ensure drawings meet FBC 2023 and FFPC 2023 requirements
Collaborate with design team, engineers, and contractors
Manage multiple tasks/projects with attention to deadlines
Assist with field verification and as-built drawings
Required Qualifications
3rd year (Junior) student in a Bachelor's in Architecture program (min. GPA 3.0)
Minimum 3 years of architectural drafting experience
Proficient in AutoCAD; Revit preferred
Knowledge of FBC 2023 and FFPC 2023
Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Preferred Skills
Experience with 3D modeling/rendering (SketchUp, Lumion, etc.)
Experience with Autocad
