Packaging Tech Level I ensures the quality and consistency of our cannabis products on the front lines. This position supports a variety of packaging activities

Essential Duties and Other Duties as Assigned

Performs and supports a variety of packaging activities, including labeling, weighing, grinding, crowning, filling, and final packaging of all cannabis products. Maintains proper organization of the Packaging rooms. Ensures the organization and cleanliness of the Packaging department related rooms. Ensures organization and cleanliness of the immediate work area. Performs regular cleaning and maintenance on work surfaces, tools, and related equipment (scissors, table, floors etc.). Contributes to instructed cleaning, sanitizing, and organization in the Packaging department areas. Contributes and shows support to associates with a safe, well maintained, and organized work area. Checks final packaging to ensure product leaving the facility is compliant. Follows company instructions to ensure accuracy consistently within the role. Follows all instructed state and federal compliance regulations. Follows instructed procedures to maintain compliance and safety. Reports any compliance or safety mistake or error to the leadership of the department. Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent. Basic understanding of cannabis cultivation and packaging processes is preferred but not required. Willingness to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment. Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining product quality. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Must be at least 21 years of age (as per legal requirements). Must be able to obtain a state medical marijuana badge and pass a background check. Reliable transportation

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. The ability to respond quickly to sounds. The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations. The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly. The ability to sit or stand for up to 12 hours at a time Lifting, standing, sitting, walking, bending, reaching, push/pull, repetitive use of hands, grasping use of hands, visual activity.
