Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a Packaging Operator to participate in daily packaging operations on our production line. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, detail oriented, and experienced in working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role involves packaging finished products efficiently and accurately while ensuring quality standards and production goals are met.
Duties
Assist with the operation of the packaging line. Package manufactured items according to company specifications and saftey guidance. Monitor product quality, labeling, and packaging integrity. Support packaging team as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Communicate with supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and minimal downtime.
Requirements
Must be 21 years or older. Previous experience in a packaging or manufacturing environment is preferred. Strong attention to detail and quality control. Ability to work efficiently under time constraints and hourly goals. Good communication skills. Ability to lift and move materials as required by the role. Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot basic equipment issues effectively. Proficient in using hand tools for assembly tasks.
