Job Overview
Packaging Operators at Ninkasi are primarily responsible for the canning, bottling and kegging of Ninkasi beer through operation and maintenance of canning, bottling and kegging equipment, inventory and handling of raw materials.
Overtime is a requirement of the Packaging Team schedule, as production demands. The day shift is scheduled 6AM-6:30PM Friday - Sunday and every other Thursday. Overtime is calculated as anything over 10 hours in a day.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Operation of canning, bottling and kegging equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Loading, unloading, and managing flow of packaging materials as well as the finished product.
CIP of equipment and lines.
Maintain and/or implement new efficient and effective work methods and systems.
Responsible for ensuring that security procedures are adhered to throughout the building.
Monitor supplies to insure required supply levels are maintained and order supplies as necessary. This includes, but is not limited to, the following items: Raw glass, crowns, glue, shrink wrap, labels, boxes, lubricants, spare parts, chemical and safety equipment.
Can crushing and recycling, as operations required.
Communicate regularly and efficiently with Ninkasi staff.
Arrive to each shift on time with a positive attitude.
Ability to work overtime with 24 hours notice
Ability to work days and nights as directed.
Ability to communicate production and schedule needs via Outlook.
Perform others duties as assigned.
Desired Minimum Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Experience: 1-2 years in a similar or related field.
