Job Description
The Packaging Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining packaging equipment in a
cGMP-regulated manufacturing environment
. This role ensures all products are packaged in accordance withStandard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
,FDA regulations
, and company quality and safety standards.Key Responsibilities
Operate, monitor, and adjust automated and semi-automated
packaging equipment
such as fillers, labelers, sealers, wrappers, and cartoners. Follow allcGMP
,SOP
, andFDA
requirements during packaging activities to ensure compliance and product integrity. Performequipment setup, start-up, changeovers, cleaning, and shutdown
according to documented procedures. Conduct in-process quality checks includingweight verification, seal integrity, torque testing, and label accuracy
. Completebatch records, logbooks, and production documentation
in compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP). Inspect packaging materials and finished goods for defects or nonconformance. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packaging area following5S and sanitation standards
. Report deviations, equipment issues, and quality concerns to supervision and Quality Assurance. Work safely while following allPPE
and facility safety protocols. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $72,000.00 - $930,000.00 per year
