Job Description

We're hiring for a hands-on Packaging Machine Technician to support production by maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing automated packaging equipment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and ensuring equipment runs safely and efficiently.

3rd shift

Key Responsibilities:

Set up, operate, and maintain packaging machinery to meet daily production goals Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting on conveyors, sealers, fillers, wrappers, and labeling equipment Conduct routine preventative maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime Adjust machine settings for product changes and packaging specifications Monitor line performance and ensure packaging quality meets company standards Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records Follow all safety and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) procedures

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience as a Packaging Technician, Maintenance Technician, or similar role in manufacturing Strong mechanical and basic electrical skills (PLC experience a plus) Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals Familiarity with pneumatics and hydraulics Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods High school diploma or equivalent required

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
