Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is recruiting for a Packaging Engineering Co-op to be located for Titusville, NJ to start in May 2026. This position is a co-op and will end in December 2026. This Manufacturing, Science, and Technology group is involved in managing packaging projects and supporting global packaging sites as well as performing a Center of Excellence (CoE) role for JSC.
The Packaging Engineer Co-op will support marketed products, new product introductions, and strategic initiatives for the department by:

• Authoring/reviewing packaging material specifications, packaging drawings, & packaging BOMs.
• Reviewing labeling and artwork to ensure they meet technical specifications.
• Performing package evaluation and distribution testing.
• Assisting with the execution of controlled temperature packaging qualifications.
• Writing/reviewing technical protocols and reports.
• Managing project timelines

Areas of discipline involve:

• Packaging Engineering
• Project Management
• Technical Operations environment in highly regulated industry
• Working closely with External Manufacturing, Quality, Graphics CoE and Distribution Centers

A qualified applicant will meet the following criteria:

• Enrollment at an accredited college/university and pursuing at least a Bachelor's Degree in Packaging Engineering or other related Engineering/Science academic major.
• Availability to work full-time (40 hours/week) during the Co-op period is required.
• Availability to commute to Titusville office 3 days per week during the Co-op period is required. Employees can work remote 2 days per week
• A minimum cumulative G.P.A. of 3.0 is preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership and/or participation in campus/community service activities are desired.
• Previous experience in a Packaging Engineering environment is preferred.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and not require future sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g. H1-B status) now or in the future.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$23.00/hr to $51.50/hr
Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
The expected pay range for this position is between $23.00 per hour and $51.50 per hour but will be based on candidate's program year, discipline, degree and/or experience. Co-Ops/Interns are eligible to participate in Company sponsored employee medical benefits in accordance with the terms of the plan. Co-Ops and Interns are eligible for the following sick time benefits: up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington, up to 56 hours per calendar year. Co-Ops and Interns are eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension).
