Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Packaging Associate to join our manufacturing team. This role involves ensuring the accurate and efficient packaging of products in compliance with industry standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical knowledge, familiarity with manufacturing processes, and experience working in warehouse or assembly environments. Responsibilities

Operate packaging machinery and equipment, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), to package products efficiently and accurately. Assemble packaging components using hand tools and mechanical knowledge to prepare products for shipment. Inspect packaged products for quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Assist with warehouse activities such as inventory management, material handling, and forklift operation as needed. Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying potential issues and suggesting process enhancements.

Skills

Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and their application in manufacturing equipment. Experience with packaging processes within a manufacturing environment. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to use hand tools effectively. Warehouse experience including forklift operation is preferred. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Basic assembly skills for preparing packaging components and materials.

Pay: $20.77 - $25.01 per hour
