Job Description

East Coast Cannabis is seeking a motivated and hard-working Packaging Associate to join our ECC Manufacturing Team in Eliot, Maine.



This is an entry-level role that offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. While no prior experience is required, all training will be provided, previous experience in production or manufacturing is a plus.



This is a demanding but rewarding position where attention to detail, reliability, and a strong work ethic are key to success.



Our ECC's Manufacturing team is an efficient group who works together to packaging high-end flower, pre-rolls, edibles, and concentrates. As a Packaging Associate, you will be responsible for packaging a variety of cannabis goods, inspecting finished products, and assisting with other responsibilities such as cleaning and organizing. This is a physical and repetitive packaging role, each day we strive to have fun while packaging high-end cannabis goods.



Responsibilities as a Packaging Associate include but are not limited to the following-



Packaging of a variety of cannabis products, such as but not limited to-


Flower Pre-Rolls Concentrates Edibles Maintaining a clean and organized work environment Maintain steady packaging rates to meet our weekly demands. Acute attention to detail. Load and unload items from machines, carts, and dollies. Assistant with unloading and organizing packaging and manufacturing supplies. Assist with facility cleaning responsibilities. Ability to change tasks quickly if needed. Appropriately use scales to weigh flower for eighths, quarters, pre-rolls, concentrates, etc. Properly and safely operate heat sealing equipment. Must work well in a group and independently; demonstrate self-motivation and initiative. Exhibit competency in basic organizational skills and communication. Exhibit personal hygiene and follow the health guidelines set forth by the company. Ability to follow instructions and follow through with the specific task.

Pay range:

$17 per hour

Desired skills

1+ years working in production environment required Experience processing medical cannabis or other botanicals highly desirable A solid understanding of the Cannabis laws, rules and regulations and passion to further their understanding and knowledge of the industry and the laws.
