Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Packager/Assembler to join our manufacturing team. This role involves assembling, packaging, and preparing products for shipment in a fast-paced environment. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to high-quality production operations while developing technical skills in packaging and assembly.

Responsibilities

Assemble products using hand tools and mechanical knowledge to ensure quality standards are met Operate packaging equipment following standard procedures and safety guidelines Prepare products for shipment by packing, labeling, and documenting each unit accurately Use programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to monitor and control manufacturing equipment when necessary Conduct routine inspections of assembled products for defects or inconsistencies Assist with equipment setup, changeovers, and troubleshooting to maximize efficiency Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to safety protocols Support warehouse activities including the use of forklifts for material handling when qualified

Qualifications

Prior experience in manufacturing, packaging, or assembly preferred Mechanical knowledge with the ability to use hand tools effectively Familiarity with warehouse operations and forklift operation is a plus Ability to operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and related automation equipment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance Good communication skills and ability to follow detailed instructions Physical ability to lift materials and stand for extended periods during shifts

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.81 - $26.27 per hour
