Our

P6 Project Scheduler

works as an integral part of the Project Team, supporting the team through thorough and accurate scheduling of large-scale, complex projects. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Procore and Primavera P6, with a strong understanding of commercial construction and public projects.

Essential Job Functions



Manage schedules and reporting for large industrial client(s) with internal scheduling departments including, but not limited to: + Establishing of initial baselines to include procurement, material/equipment lead times, and resource and/or cost-loading when applicable.
+ Review/analyize subcontractor provided schedules and incorporate into project baseline and/or updates.
+ Weekly and/or monthly reporting to include required resources, material/equipment procurement status, progress updates, and look-aheads.
+ Incorporate changes, unforeseen conditions, etc. and generate Time Impact Analysis when needed to justify requests for additional Contract Time.
Manage the company's P6 database of project schedules including collaboration with project managers, field leadership and other stakeholders to integrate project schedules and maintain accurate companywide reporting. Work with project managers companywide to develop, maintain and update project schedules using Primavera P6 software including but not limited to: + Working with project managers companywide to update schedules to reflect actual progress, updating with revised project execution plans, updating material/equipment procurement status, incorporating any changes to project scope, schedule and resources.
+ Participation in project planning and scheduling meetings to provide technical input and guidance on schedule-related matters.
+ Analyze project schedule data to identify trends, issues and opportunities for improvement.
+ Provide training and guidance to project teams on P6 scheduling techniques and best practices.
+ Ensure compliance with project scheduling policies, procedures and standards.
+ Maintain project documentation related to scheduling activities.

Education/Experience

Bachelor's degree in construction management or Engineering Proficiency with both Procore and Primavera P6

for this role 7-10 years commercial construction experience; Minimum of 5 years as project scheduler Specific experience scheduling and/or managing public projects Proficient with Microsoft office suite Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment criminal, driving and drug screen Must possess a current and valid state driver's license and a clean driving record

Physical Demands

While performing the duties the employee is regularly required to make use of close vision to read engineering blueprints and reduced size black and white drawings, specifications, fine print, reports, schedules, estimates, spreadsheets, summaries, and other documents in either hard copy or computer monitor. Must be able to converse on the telephone and in person, use hands and fingers to write and type, prepare email messages with attached files, and use personal computers and calculators. The employee will periodically need to lift and/or carry heavy documents such as specifications and/ or equipment, weighing up to seventy-five pounds.
