Fixed Schedule:

Wednesday through Sunday 10:00pm-6:00am

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Security Guard to join our team. This role involves performing regular exterior patrols to ensure the safety and security of the site, as well as managing the guard shack operations, including checking in drivers and deliveries. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Patrol Duties:

Conduct regular outdoor patrols to monitor and secure the premises. Inspect property for any signs of suspicious activity, damage, or hazards. Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents.

Guard Shack Operations:

Check in and verify drivers, vehicles, and deliveries against authorized schedules and documentation. Maintain a detailed log of all incoming and outgoing traffic. Issue visitor badges and provide instructions for site access.

Safety and Compliance:

Ensure adherence to site safety policies and procedures. Monitor surveillance equipment and report any technical issues. Assist in evacuations or other emergency procedures if required.

Communication:

Liaise with site management, delivery personnel, and law enforcement as needed. Provide excellent customer service to visitors and employees entering the site. Write detailed incident and activity reports.

Qualifications:

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field preferred.

Skills:

Strong observational and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication. Ability to work independently and remain alert during long shifts.

Requirements:

Valid security guard license (if applicable). Ability to pass a background check and drug screening. Physically capable of walking and standing for extended periods and working outdoors in various weather conditions.

Schedule:

Flexible availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
