Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Overnight Baker to join our bakery team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, baking, and finishing a variety of baked goods during overnight shifts. This role requires a passion for baking, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Overnight Baker will ensure that all products meet quality standards and are ready for the morning service.

Duties

Prepare and mix doughs, batters, and fillings according to recipes and specifications Operate baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and proofers with precision. Package baked goods for retail display or wholesale distribution Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area in compliance with food safety standards Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure optimal product quality Assist with inventory management by rotating stock and ordering supplies as needed Collaborate with team members to ensure timely production and delivery of baked goods Follow food handling procedures to maintain safety and hygiene standards in all tasks

Requirements

Proven experience in baking, pastry arts, 2 years experience preferred Knowledge of food production, preparation, and safety regulations within the food industry Experience with food packaging, catering, or restaurant operations is desirable Ability to work overnight shifts consistently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Prior kitchen or bakery experience; enthusiasm for learning is essential
