As a member of our hospitality team, the primary responsibility of an Outside Service Attendant is to greet and assist guests courteously and professionally, with a focus on providing outstanding service in the area of golf carts, bags, and general customer needs by
responding to guests in a friendly and respectful manner, ensuring that their needs are met throughout their golfing experience. This role is responsible for ensuring golf carts are in operational condition before play, and guiding golfers on the proper rules and operational standards. A crucial part of this role is to ensure each golf cart is equipped, distribute range balls, and assist golfers by loading and unloading their bags from golf carts and cars to enhance their experience.
Greet and assist guests in a friendly and courteous manner, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued throughout their visit.
Manage the check-in and check-out process for guests and members' golf equipment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure all golf carts are in proper working order before they are used for play, addressing any issues promptly.
Assist in the setup of golf carts for tournaments and daily operations, ensuring they are properly equipped and prepared to meet guests' needs.
Safely tow carts to and from the cart barn, ensuring proper handling and storage procedures are followed.
Provide knowledgeable guidance to golfers on the operational standards of golf carts and communicate relevant rules and regulations to maintain a safe and enjoyable experience for all.
Ensure that all golf carts available to guests are well-organized, clean, and free of debris. Promptly remove any carts requiring maintenance from rotation until serviced.
Place a pencil and scorecard on each golf cart before play, allowing golfers to keep track of their scores conveniently.
Assist golfers in loading and unloading their bags from golf carts and cars, handling their equipment with care and attention to detail.
Offer to wipe down golfers' clubs once play is finished for the day, helping to maintain their condition and prolong their lifespan.
Keep the designated club storage area clean and well-organized, ensuring that members' bags are stored in their designated spots for easy access.
Verify proof of payment and efficiently distribute rental clubs to guests, ensuring accuracy and adherence to rental policies.
Take necessary measures to protect the facility's assets, including golf carts, equipment, and property, maintaining a secure and safe environment.
Maintain open communication with the starter, providing timely updates on guest needs, preferences, or any issues that may impact their experience.
Uphold the appearance and cleanliness of the clubhouse, bag drop area, and cart staging area, creating an inviting and aesthetically pleasing environment for guests.
Strive to provide superior standards of quality and customer service, exceeding guests' expectations and creating memorable experiences.
Foster a positive work climate by actively contributing to the overall team effort, collaborating with colleagues, and supporting a cooperative and inclusive work environment.
Play an active role in the presentation, aesthetics, and cleanliness of the entire golf property, taking pride in contributing to its overall appeal and ensuring a positive guest impression.
