JOB DESCRIPTION Empire Drone, a Volatus Aerospace Company, one of North America\'s fastest-growing distributors and integrators for unmanned aerial systems, is seeking Sales Representatives to add to its national sales network. These individuals will leverage the Empire Drone brand name, drone systems, and back-end support technologies to build new client connections, demonstrate equipment, and close sales on a profitable commission basis. Heavy emphasis will be placed on creating ongoing relationships within Public Safety organizations while also maintaining the knowledge and flexibility to meet with potential clients in the Construction, Energy, and Agriculture industries on an as-needed basis. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS \xe2\x97\x8f Meet with prospective clients to perform sales, demonstrations, and some customer service duties. \xe2\x97\x8f Maintain respectful email and phone contact with prospective and existing clients. \xe2\x97\x8f Uphold the Empire Drone brand and client-first core tenets. \xe2\x97\x8f Keep current with company programs, new products, services, and other industry-related information, such as competitive activity within the territory. \xe2\x97\x8f Prepare estimates for clients in-line with company pricing strategies. \xe2\x97\x8f Make use of the company CRM platform to input client information and follow up on leads. \xe2\x97\x8f Close sales and provide after-sales support and training. \xe2\x97\x8f Attend area trade shows as seen fit by the Sales Representative. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS \xe2\x97\x8f Experience with UAS (Unmanned Aerial System) Technology. \xe2\x97\x8f Experience selling UAS related products or services. \xe2\x97\x8f Experience working with local and state government agencies. \xe2\x97\x8f Candidates must have a Part 107 certificate or have experience working under a public COA. \xe2\x97\x8f Reliable automobile with appropriate insurance \xe2\x97\x8f Computer with internet access \xe2\x97\x8f Excellent planning, time management, and organizational skills \xe2\x97\x8f Excellent sales and customer service skills PHYSICAL DEMANDS Reasonable accommodations can be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. \xe2\x97\x8f Must be able to drive daily to and from clients. \xe2\x97\x8f Must be able to move about inside client locations. \xe2\x97\x8f Must be able to position self to merchandise and move products. \xe2\x97\x8f Must be able to lift and transfer a weight of 50 pounds. \xe2\x97\x8f Must be able to communicate verbally and in written format. \xe2\x97\x8f Must be able to read from a screen. JOB TYPE This is a 1099 contact-based position with a very healthy commission structure. Any successful candidate will need to submit a W9 tax form before employment.
