An international automotive parts manufacturer is looking for a motivated
Outside Sales Representative
to join their team in Indianapolis, IN. The ideal candidate will have an outgoing, sales-focused mindset and prior experience in sales, preferably in the automotive or other manufacturing industries.
This is a direct hire, full-time role with an outstanding benefits package.
Outside Sales Representative
Responsibilities:
Identify opportunities for new business development and establish relationships with potential customers
Interface with customers and clients regarding product issues, quality assurance, questions, etc.
Collaborate with sales teams and clients on matters of market analysis, product planning, and expected demand
Regional travel to customer sites as needed (up to 50%)
Create price quotations and negotiate prices and costs with customers; secure product orders and follow up on tracking and delivery
Data entry of order and customer information
Other duties as assigned
Outside Sales Representative Qualifications:
Minimum of an Associate's degree or combination of education and relevant experience
Must have prior Automotive industry experience (ex. OEM, Tier 1, Tier 2, etc.)
Ability to travel up to 50%, regionally
Excellent communication and collaboration skills both written and verbal
Ability to work well in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite--Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, etc.
This position is in an office work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 20 pounds, lift in excess of 20 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.*
