The purpose of this role is to provide sales support to the Precision Equipment Truss Trailer product line, Rotational Energy and MagFan product lines through creating and maintaining positive relationships with customers and strong knowledge of the product lines.

Builds and maintains a network of sources and identifies new sales leads including networking and cold calls
Communicates with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs; Applies knowledge of the field and demonstrates product features to match products to the needs of clients
Maintains communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest
Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise post-sale
Develops and implements strategies for sales in an assigned region or industry
Provides information, quotes, credit terms, and other bid specifications to clients
Negotiates prices, terms of sales, and/or service agreements; prepares contracts and submits orders using predetermined price levels
Collaborates with purchasing departments, managers, and other staff to confirm that orders are processed with accuracy and efficiency and that products are distributed properly
Maintains detailed reports in CRM of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business and any customer or vendor relationship problems
Provides quarterly sales forecasts
Acts as a company representative at trade association meetings and trade shows
Coordinates layout and set up of trade shows and individual customer presentations
Performs other duties as assigned

Candidate requirements
3 years outside sales experience required in a similar industry
Record of sales leadership experience required
Mechanical aptitude and understanding of trailer components, trailer specifications, and application of equipment and manufacturing process
CDL license is beneficial, not required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with proven negotiation skills
Thorough understanding of technical or scientific products to be sold
Excellent time management and organizational skills with attention to detail
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
Technology & Software Qualifications
Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and Teams required
Proficiency with Global Shop preferred
Working knowledge of Windows and proficiency with PC platforms
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
Must be able to travel
