Position Overview
The Parts Sales role focuses on building relationships, generating leads, and closing deals to meet sales targets. This is a growth-oriented role focused on identifying, pursuing, and securing new business while managing key client relationships. This position will report to the Senior Aftermarket Parts Distribution and Sales Manager.
This role will be required to visit customers on a regular basis in the assigned territory in the State of California. The main focus will be in the Greater Los Angeles area.
Key Responsibilities:
These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.
Supporting Parts sales growth in an assigned area, creating a plan to grow business within this defined area.
Locating prospective customers, generating them into leads, and eventually converting them to customers. -
Recreating our brand value in specific market areas to assist in capturing whole good business sales.
Travelling a 50% minimum to assigned areas. This will include delivery and sales of parts.
Making suggestions according to the wants and needs of customers while working with internal stakeholders to identify what parts we are able to offer.
Assisting customers in troubleshooting and training.
Meeting or exceeding weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales quotas.
Preparing and submitting weekly sales or inventory reports to management
Maintaining contact lists and following up with current customers to continue building key partnerships.
Minimum Qualification:
Bachelor's degree with five (5) or more years of sales experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to travel 50% within assigned territory.
Bilingual (English and Spanish)
Ability to lift up to 60lbs
Experience selling, presenting, and negotiation.
Familiar with using Microsoft Office or sales software.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Previous experience working within the industry is considered an asset.
