Job Description

The Outside Account Manager is responsible for gathering, evaluating, and then preparing detailed total cost information for cost-effectiveness for and during the construction bid process. The Outside Account Manager may be required to visit construction sites to gather information and analyze proposals, specifications, blueprints, and construction documents in order to understand the project. The Outside Account Manager works closely with project managers to coordinate and oversee the vendors and/or subcontractors in the bid process. They are responsible for determining the time, labor, materials, and product costs for the project and communicate the requirements to the clients.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Gather necessary measurements and information on properties and project sites. Knowledge of the overall construction industry and protocol. Great aptitude and ability to quickly learn industry products, installations standards, etc. Manage multiple project estimates at any given time. Estimate materials, labor, equipment, and other functions necessary to perform work. Create labor estimates for any project. Present prepared estimates Maintain current and accurate information on material prices from vendors. Resolves cost discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information. Developing and maintaining relationships with company vendors and contractors Sales responsibility for roofing, waterproofing, and air barrier related products with reporting efforts for sales activity being made to the Vice President of Sales. Attend all sales meetings and all sales trainings, Be proficient in the electronic tools used in the industry. Follow the Company's bid procedures. Keep calendars current. Return emails and calls in a timely manner. Make presentations (where applicable). Develop new customers and property managers. Perform roof inspections for potential customers.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
