Prevent Child Abuse Utah (PCAU) is non-profit organization established in the state of Utah in 1982. Working together, we can protect Utah's most valuable resource - its children. Through initiatives including education programs on abuse recognition and reporting for both children and adults, evidence-based home visiting support for parents, and more, Prevent Child Abuse Utah is dedicated to this vital cause.

Job Summary

The Outreach Coordinator is the primary person to perform outreach for the community, Donors, Grantors, and legislators. Will help manage the Communications efforts through all formats (Press, online, social media, etc.) Will be an integral part of the Education Teams leadership.

Responsibilities and Duties

Reports to Director

Weekly Ed Team Leadership meetings

Elementary school presentation outside sales person

Contacts all LEAs through email and phoning outreach

Coordinates tabling events and schedules with Program Administrator when necessary

Attends tabling events and maintains outreach data from attendees

Plans and attends community events with other personnel

Participates on community action boards

Finds new committees for ed team participation

Part of Ed Comms Team

Weekly comms meetings

Assists & produces communications deliverables

Manages Google Reviews for school presentations

Assists with email marketing campaigns

Assists in preparing social media and blog posts for campaigns

Assists Director and Administrator in client relationship activities

Assists Director in planning Legislative, USBE, BOD and donor school visits

Assists with interviewing prevention specialist candidates

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in a related field OR equivalent experience Experience with non-profits is highly helpful Valid driver's license, registered car and car insurance Excellent communication skills Project management skills Experience with managing social media
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $26.00 per hour
