B & D Integrated Health Services East is seeking immediate

full-time hourly community-based Fully and Provisionally Licensed Outpatient Therapist that holds a valid NC license (LCSW, LCSW-A/LCMHC, LCMHC-A)

ready to serve our Medicare/Adult community.

Candidates must be willing to serve both the child and/or adult population if needed. This position is flexible, and the therapist sets their own schedule. No cap on earning potential!

Objective: Responsible for providing psychotherapy and psycho-education to patients in the community. Provide direct patient care, service planning and implementation.

Responsibilities/Duties:

Provides individual outpatient therapy to population served in community.

Contacts consumers within 24 hours of assignment to schedule initial appointment.

Is responsive to consumer's requests for an appointment, (I.e., returns calls within 24 hours).

Documents all clinical contacts in a timely manner. Clinical notes reflect chief complaint, evidence-based interventions to address chief complaint, response of consumer to intervention, progress toward therapeutic goals, and risk assessment (if needed).

Collaborates with prescribing Doctors and Providers to ensure continuity of care for consumer.

Seeks consultation regarding high-risk cases with attending Doctors and Providers and program director to ensure consumer is receiving appropriate level of care.

Is responsive to crisis situations experienced by consumers (contacts consumers within 24 hours of crisis).

Meets weekly productivity requirements to maintain full-time status.

Collaborates with other behavioral health care providers (I.e., QP's, community agencies) to communicate clinical concerns and to ensure the highest standard of care is being provided.

Completes initial treatment plans and service authorization requests, as needed.

Completes Outpatient Referral Forms, Consents, and Releases of Information in a timely manner to prevent lapse in outpatient treatment.

Ensures Outpatient Referral Forms accurately depict clinical profile of consumer.

Attends Continuing Education Trainings per licensing Board requirements

Adequately addresses frequency of client no-shows to encourage attendance in therapy (i.e. documenting attempted contacts and/or sending engagement letters).
Completes annual assessments and clinical updates when appropriate.

Completes necessary discharge documentation when appropriate.

Attends monthly provider meetings/supervision for case consultation and administrative updates.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00 - $80.00 per hour
