We are actively seeking an

Ortho Self-Pay Specialist

to join our team. As an Ortho Self-Pay Specialist, you will assist patients with billing statements, Ortho contracts, refund requests, payments, and any other financial account questions or concerns they may have. You will support our mission to providing excellent dental care in the community and help us create a world of healthy happy smiles. Responsibilities:


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS





Address patient concerns by answering and responding to incoming calls in a timely manner. Take Patient Payments Set up payment arrangements. Assist patients with unresolved balances. Patients, the offices and support services Collecting estimated liabilities from patients. Demonstrate working knowledge of the Ortho Revenue Cycle Process, Compliance, and Federal Regulations. Verify, collect and update patient demographics, insurance coverages and payment information. Ability to organize and prioritize multiple assignments. Ability to assist office with patient contract concerns/audits. Keep an open line of communication with manager. Complete weekly workflow assignments. Responsible for answering inquiries from the field offices and interoffice departments within Ortho Revenue Cycle. Fully Remote Position 7:30-4pm M-F w/4 week virtual training hours 8am-4:30pm M-F

Qualifications:


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Personal Characteristics

Graduation from an accredited high school or GED equivalent High focus on customer service and satisfaction Must enjoy working in a fast pace environment Compassion and high level of service for our staff and clients, internal and external Integrity, always doing the right thing Strong interpersonal and communication skills Attention to detail Able to organize work, engage in a variety of tasks simultaneously and consistently meet deadlines. High degree of initiative, accountability and independent judgment Professional manner and appearance always. Computer skills: Microsoft Office programs Customer Focused Drive Results Instills Trust Bilingual preferred but not required
