Our Leadership Development Team has spent the last 5+ years building the foundation, infrastructure, resources, tools, and programming of an integrated development system that is aligned with Mortenson\xe2\x80\x99s culture and strategy. This development system is designed to accelerate talent and leader development and support the increasing demands of the business and our customers.
The team is currently seeking a Leadership Development Programming Manager to ensure sustained success and ability to maximize the return on investment to date. The next phase of the LeadBLU team will ensure we are able to take full advantage of current resources, build on critical momentum created from leadership development programming experiences, continue to build our development system for the future of Mortenson, reduce reliance on external vendors, and have the agility and capacity to meet emergent and changing needs from the organization. What will you be doing?
  • Oversee regular communication, troubleshooting, and processes for leadership development and learning programming and events to ensure participant progress and team member experience.
  • Administer regular feedback surveys, collect, and organize data, and provide initial analysis to support continuous learning, strategic insights and process improvement.
  • Coordinate, schedule, and host live virtual prep sessions with leaders, facilitators, and other stakeholders. Oversee pre/post communications, as necessary.
  • Track participant sabbatical schedules and manage pre/post sabbatical communication and preparation. Follow-up up with leaders returning from sabbatical and lead re-orientation to program ensuring participant success, overall engagement with the program and application of content and experiences.
  • Manage 360 assessment administration, including all related pre and post communications. Ensure integrity of rater lists, monitor completions and follow-up as necessary.
  • Manage attendance from live virtual and in-person sessions, schedule make-up sessions, as necessary, and ensure clear communication to all stakeholders.
  • Manage executive coaching contracts and communication related to logistics, scheduling, and planning to ensure clarity, consistency, and accountability.
  • Actively contribute to the vision of our team by generating out-of-the-box thinking, solutions and ideas that will support our goal of providing best-in-class development experiences that connect to business outcomes and perpetuate our unique culture.
  • Develop and manage relationships with cross-functional departments and stakeholders to support team\xe2\x80\x99s ability to collaborate and influence across the organization.
  • Support the organization\xe2\x80\x99s efforts around organizational culture, diversity, equity and inclusion, and change management
  • Other projects and duties as assigned.

Education
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Business, Project/Program Management, Human Resources, or related field.
  • Minimum four years of demonstrated experience in leadership development program event planning/project management.
Basic Requirements:
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and OneNote
  • Solid technical aptitude with the ability to learn new software quickly
  • Team and customer service orientation
  • Strong work and personal ethics, planning and organizational skills, & attention to detail
  • Ability to think critically and work independently, when necessary
  • Well-developed listening, communication, and decision-making skills with the ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
  • Ability to manage a variety of projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, while remaining flexible and adapting to shifting business needs
